Pediatric Mental Health Specialist

Jonathan received his undergraduate degrees in Biology and Spanish from the University of New Mexico in 2003 and his nursing degree from the University of Arizona in 2006. He attended Northern Arizona University while living and working in Farmington and received his master's in nursing as a rural family nurse practitioner.


He is also a pediatric mental health specialist, PMHS, diagnosing and treating mental health challenges. He is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. He has worked in healthcare for the last 20 years in the Four Corners area. He is bilingual in Spanish and enjoys caring for his Latino families and all his patients. He has always been passionate about caring for children, spending 12 years in a pediatric clinic and especially loves seeing babies.


He and his wife, Kami, enjoy the outdoors, sports, family, and chasing children, including their own 5. They are actively involved in the community, serving on church, community, and state boards, coaching soccer, and participating in many other activities.
